INTRODUCTION: THE BEST OF THE SUMMER THREEQUELS
******************************************************************
I’m sure most of you have heard the old saying that “sequels are never equals,” and in general, that is true. It’s truly rare that a sequel can live up to its predecessor, let alone surpass it; however, it’s even more rare that a threequel ...

THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM
The summer of blockbusters brought us the battle of the threequels. Mostly big budget Hollywood productions in the form of Captain Jack Sparrow impression of a Rolling Stone in Pirates Of The Caribbean: At Worlds End, Peter Parker's internal battle with self in Spider-Man 3, and the Ugly Ogre's third outing in Shrek the Third. The Bourne Ultimatum is the least lavish and spectacular of the named group. So how will it fare ...

...I am very undecided on the film and despite my efforts to like it I just can't although I can really understand why some may love the film. This review however is based on my overall opinion of the film, a film very action packed but hard to get 'in to'.
My partner and I were avid cinema goers armed with our Orange Wednesdays tickets every week. We would enjoy watching the trailers and then plan out our next 4-6 films. My partner had obviously ...

...previous years, we had Transformers, The Simpsons Movie, Fantastic Four 2, Harry Potter and the one I had personally been waiting on The Bourne Ultimatum. When I saw the Bourne Identity all the way back in 2002 everyone just thought it was a one off and wasn't sure where the cliff hanger ending would lead. I have to say out of all of the films the Bourne Identity was probably my least favourite. When I find myself back in the cinema watching The Bourne ...

In this the final instalment of the Bourne trilogy it all starts to become a bit clearer for Jason. And for me this was perhaps the better of the three instalments. Through each episode of this remarkable trilogy I have found myself at times totally against Jason and at others extremely apathetic toward him.
The film begins in a train station in Russia where ...

The Bourne Ultimatum is now out on DVD and available to buy. It doesn't seem 5 minutes since it was released at the cinema. I will start here by saying that I don't own the DVD, and therefore this is a review of the film itself, rather than the DVD. It won't therefore include details of any special features you might get with the DVD. Speaking for myself, I'm not interested in the 'extras' that you usually get with a disc. So whether I owned the DVD ...

Quick review of The Bourne Ultimatum DVD Review ofThe Bourne Ultimatum DVDby
nicky91
Action packed, thrilling and suspensing. These are just a few ways i would describe this film.
Matt Damon stars as Jason Bourne for the third time.
I havn't seen the first two films leading up to this one but i still went to the cinema to see this one. I am deffinetly glad i did, i loved this film, it had me glued to the seat all the way through and i even bit my fingernails down from the suspence.
This film follows Jason as he tries to recover his identity and remember who he is though there are a few people he needs to sort out along the way.
It just proves that you don't have to be a guy to enjoy these sorts of films.
