Luckily, I managed to avoid most of the publicity before watching it (a difficult task in itself!). Well the much-vaunted hype kept me excited for the first fifteen minutes and then things started to go badly pear shaped. Everyone knows the 'story' by now, so I won't dwell on that, but has there ever been a better argument for the importance of script writers than the improvisation that is BWP? I suspect that if you were to break down the scene frame by frame you'd find that a good twenty percent is shots of leaves on the ground. Improvisation ...
