I only recently got the chance to see this film and I had been wanting to watch it since it was at the cinema but never really got the chance until a few nights ago. From all the people I know who had seen it told me that it was a pile of poo so I wasn't expecting anything spectacular which is maybe why I liked this film so much because I was expecting it to be all that great. ...mad, thinking that this is the scariest movie ever made. They are obsessed with it. I went to see it at the cinema when it first opened. At the end of the film everyone left muttering wehat a waste of time it is. And I would have to agree. It is shot in 4:3 ratio so it looks just like a camcorder screen, adn tall teh bouncing around (which is supposed to make teh film look real) just makes you seasick instead. The sound is in mono, not surround sound. ...

...as being as scary as the exorcist, well executed and developed it makes a change to see independent film makers doing so well, pity then the the story is so weak, the characters unbelievable, the picture grainy(ok its meant to be like that but its still off putting) and they've made a sequel riding on the success of this, I'd lie to have at least seen the witch and then I may have been a little bit more in favour of the film, but the end is disappointing ...

After all the hype the web site achieved, when this film came out, I had to see it. And I must say that the hype was well justified. This is one of the most original films ever made. The performances by the 3 lead characters Mike, Heather and Josh are outstanding and would reccomend everyone go and see this movie. The only bad point about this film is that you're not going to get the same atmosphere watching it at home on video than in a cinema. ...
