...1971 - it still has the power to make you uneasy if not scared witless. The story revolves around a scientists (Robert Stephens) trying to unravel a strange phenomena that appears around recently deceased people called the Asphyx and his attempt at harnessing it's energy for the purposes of immortality. Needless to say it all goes awry. A pretty good horror movie if a little dated but you can imagine with a good director - say Ridley Scott - nowadays ...
