I dont know how any critic could slate this movie. From start to finish its action packed, and with stars like Vinnie Jones, Halle Berry, and of course John Travolta the movie is never dull. I saw this film during the summer, I heard that it was created by the same people that did matrix so I thought that it will be good, some of the effects are amazing, for example the begginning where the bank robbery is taking place and the ball bearing bomb goes off and it all slows down Matrix style, truly a masterpeice. Plotwise it invovles a hacker that comes out of retirement to do one last job, for Gabrile (john Travota) to steal $9 billion ...
...as the sequence with car chase and there is the bank robbery. The main problem with this film is that it can be very slow in some places but it does raises the idea of sacrifice such as the bit where gabrile asks the hacker if he could kill a child to rid world desises. ...shows you the risk. Swordfish is definitely a movie for everyone who loves action packed scenes to purchase and enjoy over and over. The best part of the movie for me was seeing how well thought out the scheme to do each and every bombing that the "bad guys" did. This film is very good throughout but has a bit of a undercover conspiracy theory undertone to it, which face it is the american government all over. Travolta plays a cool dude- bad guy who goes around funding wars and getting the USA out of some civil wars around the globe. Shame they didnt use him in Iraq!!!!. a lot of movies related to hacking are on streets but this one steals the show.reason being sheer class and the way action sequences blend with story as it progresses.JOHN Travolta is awesome just like pulp fiction and broken arrow. Ce film a vraiment réussis a surpassé le vieux film du genre avec Angelina Jolie. ce film mix l'action des films de fusil mais avec l'efficacité des technologies. c'est un tres bon film, Halle Berry, John Travolta et Hug Jackman sont tres fort dans ce film. Ils interpretent super bien leur role et on ne peux pas décrocher de l'action du film a aucun moment. Hug Jackman joue un surdoué du piratage électronique et se fait contacter par John Travolta ...
...accepte le travail sans se douter que sa vie allait changer du tout au tout.
