Advantages: Perfect for the dark, cold winter nights
Disadvantages: Buy the whole boxset instead of volume 1 and 2

If you were like me and grew up on a stable diet of Buffy, Dawsons Creek, Angel and Roswell High then this show is for you. Especially if you are looking for something other than Smallville to get you through the dark, winter nights. Ignore the front cover artwork on the boxset as well, I can say with true conviction that the show isn't as silly as what is depcited there. Disadvantages: Some weak episodes. All hinges on if the featured monster is any good.

...the Files was SOMETIMES actually supernatural in origin. In this great little show, the story is ALWAYS a ghost / monster of the week. And that is just one of the big drawers for me. The acting is consistently good, as is the writing. I couldn't believe that 'McG' produced this, to be honest. I hate the Charlies Angels movies, but this show is a gem. Supernatural aired in the UK on ITV2. It truly is a fantastic series. The storylines are gripping and despite what anyone else might say, they ARE original, the producers really know their stuff and it's obvious to anyone that alot of research has gone into the show to make it as believable as possible.
