I must admit, i stumbled across this movie at a friends house who called it 'Average' and at best 'just noise'. while watching this film, i found it hard to stop laughing throughout the entire movie. After watching Juno, i've become a bit of a michael cera fan. something about his quiet nature, and sweet searching eyes as well as his fantastic 70's esque way of dressing makes him such a captivating and sweet character. the film is basically about ...
...aren't- as being 'cool' as they so badly want to fit in. you can't help but feel sorry for them, especially the skinny vogel who sort of reminded me of someone i knew back at highschool. the plot is centered around booze and girls - every teenage boys fantasy- but it goes horribly wrong (as it always does!). My favourite charcters were by far the two dumb and delinquent policemen who form a bizzare friendship with Vogel - who calls himself mcLovin' ...

Superbad is a very understated and modern teen flick, if you totally loved Nepolian dynomite, like i did, you'll love this. The main characters are funny, real and well written. The two cops are hilarious, i laughed all the way through this intentionally geeky an wholly enjoyable film. A Brilliant movie, if you haven'y seen it already, you're missing out! The film follows a story about three nerds seekng for some female attention, to do this they try to attend a party with booze, difficult as they are underage... Now this isn't my usual kind of film, but for a hungover and tired Sunday this was just what the doctor ordered. On seeing the trailor, i wasnt very tempted to see this, so on dvd release, i watched. best thing ever! so hilariously funny, you'll be crying with laughter. However, it does depend on taste in humour as this is not for the easily offended! vulgar in places, but this is how boys of that age act! i enjoyed this immensely, you will find you may be able to think of someone very similar to certain characters. the acting is good, with very funny performances ...
