Before i start my review, i have to let you know that i am a massive fan of will ferrell, i think he is a very funny man, i think his mannerism are side splitting. Stranger than fiction is a serious performance from Will Ferrell. I made the mistake of watching this movie expecting lots of classic Will Ferrell humor but i was disappointed. I was rather torn when I first heard about this film - Will Ferrell usually irritates me, but Emma Thompson is one of my all time favourites. Not quite sure what to expect, I was very pleasantly surprised by this movie. Ferrell plays Harold Crick - a very dull man with a very dull life as an IRS tax inspector. Emma Thompson plays Karen Eiffel, a successful writer struggling to finish her latest book. One morning Harold starts to hear Eiffel's voice ...
