Advantages: good, original story; great performances from actors/actresses Disadvantages: A little boring and sometimes dull plot
Stranger than fiction is a serious performance from Will Ferrell. I made the mistake of watching this movie expecting lots of classic Will Ferrell humor but i was disappointed.
The Storyline
Harold Crick (Will Ferrell) is an IRS agent who is stuck in a monotonous, boring life. He wakes up, counts his brush strokes, and goes to work. Harold struggles to overcome the story and to change the path his life is taking, when he discovers who it is narrating his life, and the main character in all her books dies, usually as soon as their lives start to develop into something more meaningful. Harold decides to find Eiffel, and begs her to spare his life, and change the ending of her book. ...
