Advantages: action,adventure, good storyline
Disadvantages: addictive!

...a spinoff from the original Stargate film it stands up rather well. Of course the actors are not the same but Richard Dean Anderson does a good job. In fact they all do! The set contains the original tv pilot and the whole of series one. The story centres around the stargate, an intergalactic gateway, made by an ancient alien civilization. These aliens are not benign and have used humans for centurys as host bodies because they are easy for them ... Read review

Stargate S.G.1 based on the Stargate movie. This series is one of the best science fiction series ever. The series follows S.G. 1 on their missions to other planets through the Stargate. The S.G. 1 team are made up of Jack O'Neill (2 L's), Samantha Carter, Daniel Jackson and eventually Teal'c.
