I have just gotten around to watching this film today and was actually amazed that there were reviews already. I did want to see this at the cinemas when I saw if first come out, except I was too busy and I couldn't arrange anything, so I waited for it to be released on DVD, but still that was expensive so I waited and waited until it became 3 for £20 in HMV and we managed 2 other DVDs to go with it, and bought it. The story gives us Action, drama, witches, magic, love, lust, witches, flying pirates and all within a timeframe that is just about perfect unlike Pirates of the Caribbean for example which felt bloated. This film is on general release now in the UK and has a PG certificate which is probably about ...
...cruelty but these are more likely to delight than terrify and sexual innuendo which will probably go over young heads anyway. If you like Lord of the Rings or Pirates of the Caribbean you will love this.
