When I first heard that Star Wars was coming to DVD I almost wet myself, and thats not somehting a grown man can admit to easily but its true. I watch Star Wars at least once a month and my videos were in dire need of replacement, and this was the answer. Star Wars Trilogy Box Set DVD. Without sounding too excited about the first DVD release for the first 3 star wars or is that the final 3 films. A can recommend this too anyone that wants to buy the box set. Comparing it to the 2000 VHS Trilogy version, the conversion and re-mastering of it to DVD is top notch. Disadvantages: the spines are silver not gold

When i got my copy of these 'films' i thought that that there was only one edition out, the silver/black edition. if that is so, then Mr. Lucas has certainly spun a fast one on us all, the spines on ep.1 and ep.2 are gold while the remainder are silver, and lets face it in an ideal world, we would prefer it if they all matched and not three gold and three silver. The box too is a bit of a let down, Mr Lucas could of easily forseen (no pun intended) ... Read review
