Advantages: entertaining for star trek fans
Disadvantages: could have been just a hour episode in the series.

star trek insurrection to put it bluntly was what i thought the worst out of the star trek franchise movies. Im not saying it was a terrible movie....... just that It was the least entertaining of them. now saying that and moving on it did have some original plot movements. the fountain of youth, rouge star fleet officers and so forth but still all the old tricks were still there. revenge, forbiden love and so on. we do get to see some of brent spinners ...
