...he secretly loves, in danger. Spider-Man steps up to the mark and takes on this evil nemesis.
►►► Opinion
Whilst I won't claim to be an aficionado on Spider-Man, or any other comic book super hero for that matter, out of all these champions of justice which I grew up with, Spider-Man was always my favourite. Although Superman could fly and Batman had the coolest gadgets, Spider-Man could climb, swing, and jump, some might even ... ...Being the first live action Spider-Man film that I can remember it is no surprise that they decided to start at the beginning covering the way in which Peter Parker miraculously gets his amazing powers. This intro is brilliant for anyone who is unfamiliar with the comics as whilst moving at quite a pace it delivers enough information that you understand how and why Peter parker is suddenly able to climb buildings and swing from roof top to roof top. ...

The life of Peter Parker is somewhat ordinary. He's a typical high school geek with a shy and nerdy personality. No matter how hard his life at school may be however, whether its bullying or taunting, he has yet to confess of his love for the one girl he can't take his eyes off; Mary Jane. Surely things will start to look up though? After a freak accident on a school trip, Peter is hit with a vicious bite from a radioactive spider. At first it may ... ...The powers he unravels are unique to man, being superhuman in strength and with capabilities of scaling ceilings, walls and anything he can grab onto. With his new power he becomes the unknown Spiderman. Meanwhile back in the City, scientist Norman Osborn, Peters childhood friends dad, is developing a performance enhancement drug. Spiderman was created by Narvel comics genius Stan Lee, along with fellow writer Steve Ditko. Following numerous attempts at putting the webslinging superhero on screen, director Sam Raimi finally made a blockbuster in 2002, and this is it.

SpiderMan, my favourite superhero. I remember reading all the comics and annuals growing up and even had some of the toys ….
Marvel had a great idea to start bringing characters from their comics and make them into movies. One of the first was Spiderman. Stan Lee's comic book hero was about to come to life.
Sam Raimi the director (Evil Dead) wanted to stick to as much of the comic adaption as he possibly could without changing much of the storyline ... ...involved in this include Tobey Maguire (Peter Parker / Spiderman), Kirsten Dunst (Mary Jane Watson), and William Dafoe (Green Goblin).
Everybody was so sure that this would be a success Tobey and Kirsten were signed up for three SpiderMan films.
The villain writers and producers chose was the Green Goblin who is the most well known of all Spidermans enemies. William Dafoe wanted the part on this as he thought he could bring the Goblin into a character ...

Believe it or not, but i have just got around to watching this movie.....5 years after its release....but hey like they say "better late than never"...
Spiderman as we all know is a Marvewl comic classic made into a hollywood blockbuster that has up to now spawned 2 sequels.
The first installment sees Peter Parker - who is a bit of a geek - living a pretty normal teenages life, but with not a lot of things going for him. He's bullied by the cool ... ...knows he exists and his best mates dad Norman is a complete lunatic who is hell bent on not only running his own life, his sons life and that of Peter Parker as well.
I think its quite amusing how Peters life changes forever on a school trip, as i personally can relate to that, although my life changing experience involved White Lightning Cider and a girl called Kelly!! ha
Peter's experience is a little less exciting as he is bitten by a genetically ...

Advantages: Faithful to the original stories, great action sequences Disadvantages: You have to suspend your belief in some parts
When Spiderman hit the big screen in 2002 it was hugely successful, and for me is one of the best comic book adaptions of all time. Fun and exciting, Spiderman breathes new life into the superhero genre, with great acting and breathtaking CGI sequences. Tobey Maguire is perfectly cast as the awkward and nerdy Peter Parker, who is suddently transformed into a stong and agile superhero, while Willem Defoe is excellent as Spiderman's nemesis the Green ... ...original comic books, which will keep die hard fans happy. Peter Parker is a shy and nerdy individual, who, although smart, is picked on by high school Jocks and is unable to communicate with girls, in particular the ravishing Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst) who lives next door to him. This all changes when, while on a field trip, Parker is bitten by a genetically modified spider. Suddenly he begins to feel different, more powerful, more sure of ...
