SLEEPY HOLLOW Director Tim Burton certainly doesn’t attempt a radical rebirth with this release. Starring Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci, it’s a distinctly tongue-in-cheek gothic horror, which amounts to fairly average conclusions. The plot is typically generic. Excellent film, Johnny Depp at his spooky best. I've given this a five star rating as appary from being highly entertaining, I've watched it over and over unlike some DVDs which get watched once and shelved. Interesting featurette on this as well showing how the eerie atmospheric set is created. A truly entertaining film, fans of Depp, and director Tim Burton will be in heaven. A greate Comedy-horror romp:) ...

...horror movie for its time sleepy hollow manages to combine a dark humour with the terrifying horseman of sleepy hollow.It tells the story about Ichabus Crane a policeman ahead of his time who is intrested in forensics and discovering clues on bodys ,the local judge doesnt like his ideas so sends him to a small town where there has been a number of nasty murders ,Ichabus trys to discover more about the murders and also finds out more abo ut his past ...
