I hate to be a party-pooper, but in my opinion this film was a rotter - it shouldnt have been, but i just felt Mel Gibson was not at his best!! The way he kept on saying "baby" as many times as he could really annoyed me!! After all the hype on tv this film has, in my opinion, not lived up to its hype. I was really looking forward to this film, I, like many people, am a big fan of M Knight Shyamalan. It is a fantastic movie, very tense and the acting is brilliant, even from the little kids but I was expecting more from the ending, those being Shyamalan's trademark. The film got me, I jumped on a number of occasions and the tension built up to a point where I couldn't bear to look, more than I expected from a 12A. It has it's comic moments too, ...
