Advantages: Just as funny as the First, Easy to follow story Disadvantages: Not really for small children, although they will laugh.

Shrek continues to be the Loveable Ogre that we know and love, but becomes frustrated at the prospect of meeting his In-Laws. Anyway, they set off to the Land of Far Far Away with Donkey in tow. Of course Fiona's parents are unaware that their daughter and new Husband are Ogre's. The atmosphere is rather akward. The Dinner scene is Hilarious. Fiona's Dad sets a plan to get rid of Shrek, which of course doesn't quite go to plan. ... ...first, but when nothing happens Shrek drinks the rest, and hopes for the best.
The next morning with appearances changed they all set off to find Fiona. Fiona has been tricked into thinking that Prince Charming is Shrek. Prince Charming is the Son of the Fairy Godmother who makes all the potions in the Land. The Fairy Godmother traps Shrek and gets him put in Jail. This is where his friends from the Swamp come to the rescue.

Advantages: Fairytale Animation for both children and adults,humourous and largely entertaining Disadvantages: like all sequels,It is best to watch the first film previously

Advantages: Shrek 2 delivers more laughs than the first movie. Disadvantages: sometimes voices a bit noisy
I think the Shrek movies are the best ever made. Shrek the Halls is hilarious. I hope they continue to make them for years to come...just don't take so long in-between! Every time I watch one of them I see somethig I missed before. The expressions on the animated faces are wonderful. The humor is great, some of it I think goes over the heads of the litle ones and that is OK! It is nice to see that even animated people do not have to be perfect. The movie Shrek 2 is an overall descent film. Although the voice acting of the main characters are extremely annoying. The comedy features of the film offers a lot of laughs, some of which parents may or may not find suitable for children.
