...had to have it! Sharpe is... basically, you're average sargeant in the army who saves wellingtons life from the french, and gets a promotion and a group of surly riflemen to officer at. who really don't like him. The rest of the story, i'll let you watch and find out for yourself. Now, this series is based on a set of books by Bernard Cornwell, and these are well worth getting as a companion to the series - it gives you so much more background ...

...set comes with the complete Sharpe series that have been released on DVD, bar the latest adventure in India, which I believe was released after this box set, so you can't really blame them. In the box set I got, there was a free map of 'Sharpe's battles', a good thing for any Sharpe fan I'm sure. Also you get a 'chronicles booklet' which is basically a fans guide to behind the scenes Sharpe and actors profiles. Now, for those who have never watched ...
