Advantages: good story, good acting Disadvantages: None from me and hubby
...a cattle baron, Rufus Ryker. Shane is offered work with the family and soon find himself at home with them. Things go bad for the family when Rufus tells them and all the other homestead owners that he has got a new massive cattle contract so he wants their land. The families are not prepared to give up their land though. Shane and Joe decided that they will not be moved and call a meeting with the other homestead owners and they all decide that ... ...to move. Will Joe and Shane be able to keep their homestead and land of will Rufus get his way and win?
The story to this film was very good if not a little predictable. I thought that Alan Ladd who played the lead role of Shane did a great job and it was so nice to see another lead role in a cowboy film instead of John Wayne. He managed to bring a lot to his role and show many sides to his character. He was hard and tough with the gun fighters ...
