I don’t normally watch horror films, but I knew that “Severance” was a British film, and played for comedic effect. It also only has a 15 rating, so I figured that it wouldn’t be that scary. ...the back of Hostel's popularity. Severance is a dreadfully overlong story that's plot is so familiar, even to someone that does not watch horror movies. DRAB, is a good word. If Channel Five made movies, this would be it! The movie delivers nothing new, and frequently has unusual pauses like the movie is about to swing into a commercial break. No explanation is ever offered either, for pretty much anything. Why are they on this team building weekend? ...

Being a big fan of danny dyer and a lot of his work this was an obvious purcahse for me, especially as the adverts looked excellent. So I bought the film and watched it, I'll get straight to the point, the actors where ok, danny dyer wasnt't his best, and the writer kept throwing in drug related and drink related bits with danny dyer being the culprit, this seemed desperate to me, danny dyer just didnt suit this role at all, he needs to just stick ...

I love horror and i love comedy, that's why this movie appealed so much to me. If you've watched 'Shaun of the dead' you will love this. The fact that one of them is high and is seeing things pushes the barriers of what we would tolerate before it becomes over the top. Open shots are a blood fest but we don't know why. A team building exercise for a weapons manufacturing company in the corporate holiday lodge in a remote woodland turns into some thing more dark and deadly.
