This film see Richard Pryor playing the role of Wally Kenew who is a blind man and has been told he needs to try and find himself a job so he can gain some independence. His carer and helper take him to a small store where he meets the owner Dave Lyons, played by Gene Wilder, who is deaf and the pair somehow manage to communicate with each other and discuss the job vacancy. As this is going on a customer arrives at the store but he gets shot ... ...outfits are very funny to see now. The music in the film is good if not very memorable, I do remember thinking that it was all appropriate for the places which it was used. As I have previously said this is a very funny film and I have to say that one of the parts which really stands out for me is when the men are supposed to be having their mug shots done after they have been arrested as they are unable to both look at the camera at the same time ...

...never heard of again. Well see no evil hear no evil is one of them cmic gems that you could watch over and over again and not tire from it. The two main stars of the film, Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder are both wonderful and self established stars with an irreplacable chemistry, and that chemistry is utilized very well throughout. Of course, the brilliantly original premise helps as well. A blind guy and a deaf guy who pair up to solve a murder? ... ...Also, if you want to see an early (comic) performance by Kevin Spacey, it's also worth checking out. Speaking of worth checking out, Joan Severance provides great eye candy, and she has a couple of nude scenes to boot. Plot

...seen. it is absolutely hysterical. See No Evil, Hear No Evil features the creasingly funny double act of Richard Pryor one of the most influential and naturally funny comedians of our time (sadly passed away). And Gene Weilder an equally funny man with great acting ability.
The Plot/ Story

Keru has no idea what is being said so he has to think of something quick to say. ...

Advantages: One of the funniest films ever. Classic Disadvantages: None
By far one of the funniest films i have seen. I had seen it years ago at the cinema when it first came out but never saw it again until dvd came along, and boy what i'd been missing. The story is basically about two guys, one deaf the other blind, who inadvertantly come into possession of a rare coin. The chase is then on from the police who think they murdered the owner of the coin and the criminals ( Kevin Spacey and Joan Severance ) who did kill ... ...Gene Wilder ( Wally ) and Richard Prior ( Dave ) arguing with each other without actually knowing it is priceless. I think in todays climate of political correctness you just couldn't get away with a film like this. Although it takes blindness and deafness it doesn't trivialise those disabilities it just takes it to the extreme with hilarious results. My favourite scene is when Prior goes for a job at Wilders kiosk and pretends not to be blind while ...
