Scrubs - Series 1 (Box Set) (DVD)

Scrubs Series 1 is the DVD of the hit US comedy first aired in the UK on Channel 4. I hadn't actually seen this show when it originally came out, however all my friends seemed to like it, and after borrowing a copy of the DVD, I was hooked. I think I watched the whole thing in a weekend, and couldn't stop talking about it for the rest of the week. I now have all 4 series as part of my own collection, and it's definately my goto show when I'm bored ...

So rarely does a show combine Laugh out Loud comedic moments, with really heart felt drama, but Bill Lawrence is able to create both moments with this totally unique comedy. Scrubs basically sees a young new medial intern JD, starting work at Sacred Heart hospital. The show is voiced over by the in over his head doctor, portrayed by Zach Braff, who's own inexperience of stardom ...

What can I say about scrubs, after years of my friends telling me im stupid for not watching it, I decided to bite the bullett and buy the boxset and in my eyes possibly the funniest things on tv since friends season 3, The way it all blends in is very well written. Even the outtakes and extras on this one are great. The cast interlinks expertly. I think the best character has to be John C McGinley's Doctor Perry Cox.
