Anyone who has seen Scream 2, and if you hadn't then you wouldn't be reading this, will recall a scene in which a group of savvy teenagers agree that all second sequels are crap, without exception. This may mean that Craven has purposefully conformed to the expectations of the genre, and, if so, it is one in-joke too far: Scream 3 is dire. ...this time. I enjoyed both scream 1 and 2 but I think the idea has been worn out. I am not saying this is a totally rubbish film but scarey it is not. ...than the rest of the scream movies. I some how feel they should of stuck on just the 2nd one because it seems outdated. But if you like the first 2 i can see you liking this one aswell.
