...cinema I got to see Scream 3. I was not disappointed. I was expecting a lot from this 'the last film in a planned trilogy' and I think it delivered pretty much everything. The one key thing to point out is that the killings (and therefore the scariness) certainly take a back seat. Within the 'Scream' movies there is the 'Stab' movies which are based on the characters of 'Scream' (If that makes sense - I re-worded it like a million times :-)). Apparently Scream was always written to be a trilogy, so this third instalment HAD to happen. The movie adheres to its own definition of the 3rd sequel in a movie trilogy by wrapping up loose ends and disclosing the complete truth about the past. The audience leaves the movie with a fulfilling sense of closure to the whole mess. The tactic of filming the making of a horror movie within a horror movie is not original but it is well done. ...
