Advantages: Great scenes Disadvantages: Similar to 1st film
...as possible from the first Scream film. The film has several quite powerul scenes that i'm sure will make an impact on many people. The actors such as Sarah Michelle Gellar are still good although she does not last long in this film at all. However, the film is still very good and I would recommend it to anybody that may want to watch the film.
This is a film that I would definetely watch again if I had the chance as it is very entertaining and ...

Advantages: More suspense Disadvantages: The death of Randy
...I've already praised the first Scream movie as the savior of the horror genre. With such a superb first installation surely producing a fantastic sequel would be a huge challenge.
Nevertheless, Scream 2 manages the task admirably. Just like its predecessor, this movie combines a tongue-in-cheek storyline with a fair number of twists and jumps.
The story involves the survivors of the first movie, but the location has moved away from the small town ... ...survivors are being hunted.
The violence is a lot more graphic and contrasts sharply with some of the more lighthearted moments in the movie so keeping the audience suitably unnerved.
The biggest shock in the film, for me, was the death of Randy. This character was the horror fans hero and by removing him from the story reduced the audiences' involvement in the film. ...

...scream, I couldn't resist hiring scream 2 from the vidio shop. Well what can i say, what a brilliant film. All your favourite actors and actresses are back including Courteney cox, David Arquette and of course Neve Campbell. The story line is exreemley good and well thought out without being corny. It has just the right combination of being funny and scary. Wes Craven is definetely a talented writer. If I had only one critical point to make it would ...

Scream 2 is just as good as Scream 1, it’s scary in parts and the story line is really good, making you guess until the very end, as to who the identity of the murderer is. When you find out it, it is a shock. So make sure if you know someone who has watched it don’t tell you who the murderer is. Some scenes are really good to watch and have you on the edge. It’s about the murders on the campus, where everyone is accused. No one ...

Advantages: Cast, story and more whodunnits! Disadvantages: None
...loving the first in the Scream trilogy I was eagerly awaiting this instalment, and I wasn't let down!
The story continues from the first movie and contains a lot of references so it's probably best to watch the Scream before watching this one.
Sydney Prescott has moved onto college and away from the murderous town of Woodsborough. She has built up a new group of friends, seeing as though most of the others were murdered, but also kept some of the ... ...by a guy in a Scream mask (modelled on the ghostly face of the figure in Edvard Munch's painting 'The Scream'), and the focus once again turns onto Sydney. At first the police suspect a Copycat killer but then it begins to seem like someone is trying to finish what was started in Woodsborough!
Wes Craven once again delivers a horror movie based on a Kevin Williamson (Dawson's Creek) script that is a tongue-in-cheek jibe at the horror genre. It is ...

...it for you. Scream 2 continues from Scream 1, it continues from the Woodsboro murders, just when they think that is all behind them, a crazed copycat killer begins acting out a real horror show. There’s blood and continual guessing as to who is the killer. No one is safe on the campus, and fingers are pointed as to who is the killer. Scream 2 delivers it’s fair share of twists that you might have not expected, and the ending is a not ...

The formula is the same as the first one, but it doesn't let us tired. First of all, the excuse they give to make the sequel was the most creative I've seen: Gale, one of the survivors of the first movie, made a book about the massacre and now it became a movie.
`Scream 2' tell us the `rules' of a sequel with the same sarcasm of `Scream' and it also proves that this is the only successful teenage horror movie. After `Scream' the cinema was invaded ...

Scream 2 is not quite as good as the first one “scream” but still makes for very good viewing. Cidny and the surviving gang are back and the killings start again. The killer is determined to finish what previous people started. The scream series is best known for the costume the killer wears and the costume feature strongly in this film, mostly where someone gets killed !
There are lots of “HE’S BEHIND YOU LOOK ROUND YOU STUPID *******” and is fun ...

Advantages: Lots of Gore and Action Disadvantages: To similar to original
Scream was a huge smash hit at box offices worldwide, it was plain to see why. It was a twisted tale of a serial killer hell bent on revenge. The sequel is basically identical, it's a tale of revenge and bitterness. All the way through the film you are racking your brains to try to work out who the killer is. The thing is it seems obvious until the end, Just like a Ruth Rendall mystery. This film offers a lot more Gore, action and killing than its ... ...Woodsborough murders which is the incident in the first film. Sydney gets on with her life glad that it's all out of the way until another Survivor of the Incident Gale Weathers a reporter releases a film about the murders. There then seems to be a copycat of the Woodsborough murders which is heading for the survivors of the original. This is highly reccomendable for fans of any films including serial killers and is possibly better than the first, ...

Advantages: Still managing to use cliches to its advantage Disadvantages: Not as good as Scream
...The 'real' events of Scream have been made into a film (based on Gale's, Courtney Cox, book). It's been dumbed down into an ordinary horror and the audience are given plastic masks and rubber knives. This makes you think (well, made me think) about the impact film violence has on audiences. Clever. Needless to say, a murder occurs at the cinema and so begins the torment for Sydney (Neve Campbell) again....or should that, more properly, be Sydney's ... ...original Scream again. Sequels have the reputation of being poor rehashes of the original and Wes Craven tackles this by having the characters entertainingly discussing it in the film! This film probably has a bit more sarcastic humour than the original which makes it sparkle temporarily but, in my opinion, it's a pale imitation of the original.......which in a paradoxical fashion is pretty much the conclusion the characters in the film came to as ...

I didn’t find Scream scary, I don’t think it was a horror film as there have been many before this film which could be classed as scary. However I do think it was well done as it kept you in suspense as to who was committing all the crimes, everyone was a suspect but only one was the actual murderer. I must admit I did not guess right when I was pointing the figure at who might be the murderer.
Some of the scenes are so well done especially ...

I thought that Scream 2 was really good its not that it was scary cause it wasnt i found it really funny. Its good that films have a sequel as people want to know what happens i think that Scream 2 was the best out of the sequel.
The only person that seems to survive in scream is sidney prescott (neve campbell) she is a really good actress. It also stars Sarah Michelle Gellar and Joshua Jackson.
Scream 2 was produced by the same producer as I know ... ...you would like this and if you didnt know what scream film to get out then this is the one for you as it is better than the first and the 3rd one. It is really a must see film but i am sure that you wouldnt be scared. ...
