I have never been a big fan of movie spoofs or the slasher movie genre encompassing such movies as Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer etc. so i went to see this movie expecting to be unimpressed - but was pleasantly surprised. This is a very funny movie. Taking Scream as its main influence and target, this movie takes a cast of unknown 'teenage' actors and has them killed off in a variety of hilarious ways by the man in Munch's Scream mask. ...

I`ve just seen this film and oh my god i it was bloody hillarious from the off it reeked of utter comedy from the silicone implant being ripped out to the pot smokin` session. Having watched Scary Movie last week, I am not quite sure what to think about it. The film contains some hilariously funny moments, but as a whole doesn't really fit together. Scary Movie is not to be missed!! I haven't stopped laughing and it's still funny after watching it five times. When i first watched scary movie, I thought it was just like I know what you did last summer and scream. You have to have watched both these films though to know what i am on about. In the late 90's with the highly successful "Scream" movies, the tired old slasher genre got a shot in the arm. These movies took the conventions of the "Scary Movie", and, effectively parodied them. This lead to a slew of copycat movies, and rather predictably, a parody. Before i went to see this film, i discovered that it was a spoof on the 'Scream' and 'I know what you did last summer movies'. This slightly put me off, as i haven't seen any of these films, and was concerned it may detract from my viewing pleasure. Not so.
