Scary movie 2, how did it fare up? The first film was so fresh, took so many different takes on different films and had you laughing right through it. The sequel is a poor film by comparison and relies too much on slapstick humour and toilet gags. I imagine this film would be funnier if you had seen it after a night out ...

...seen and enjoyed the original Scary Movie, I was looking forward to the sequel from the talented Wayan Brothers. The trailer made it out to be very much like the Haunting, with the obvious crazy gags thrown in. But it was so much more than that, borrowing (and twisting!) scenes from movies such as Charlies Angels to Nike Commercials. The movie started off with a really bad comedy skit with James Woods and Andy Richter(sidekick of Conan O'Brian) doing ...

Having watched the first scary movie, i was expecting a Disapointing second. I wasnt dissapointed!! The first scary movie was basically a spoof based around teen movies, Killer in suit kind of thing. This time i feel, personally, they've taken it to far. Based around Excorsist, Poltergiest, The haunting ( ghost movies generally), they went from a stupid funny, to a over stupid, insulting , and basically apart from the opening 20 minutes, not funny. ...

When I saw Scary Movie I have to say I wasn't really impressed, in fact it was pretty lame. However I reluctantly saw the 2nd one and consequently have also been to see the 3rd proving that there must be somethind about this trilogy worthy to see.
