Once again we come to a fairly interesting feature and I think the secret lies in the fact that it is not too long. At just over 2 minutes we are shown how some of the effects within the film are done such as the breakaway glass and rubber glass which is used as a means of creating broken glass effects without any potential injury to the cast members, and how the sex with a ghost scene was done. Although extremely ... ...although non-essential it certainly makes for interesting viewing which is more than can be said about 'Here Kitty, Kitty'.

Yes Scary Movie is back, with less mercy, less shame and less clothes, and its only been a year since its last outing making this one of the fastest sequels ever apart from the Pokemon and Friday the 13th series of films. So have the Wayan’s brothers learnt anything from their last experience not so long ago or is Scary Movie 2 one scream too far? Well you know the answer anyway but nevermind.
It’s nice to go into a film ... ...You Did Last Summer. Scary Movie 2 steps away from the masked killer technique and plays its cards with ‘supernatural’ horror, bad move, especially when its indispersed with spoofs which bear no relevance to the horror genre. This wouldn’t be such a bad thing if the spoofs were good but for the most part they fall flat.
The plot is even looser than before. The film starts with a quite well done, if decidedly average Exorcist spoof. ...

Advantages: This is hilarious - if you're of the juvenile persuasion. Disadvantages: This is terribly offensive, disgusting, and occasionally delves into sacrilege.
Scary Movie 2 is perhaps one of the most brilliant sequels since Ace Ventura 2, in that it is not just a clone of the original (see Speed 2 if you don’t get it).
The Wayans Brothers had a vision: Spoof every horror movie, teen flick, and classic film ever made, and be sure to throw in plenty of sex and drug use so that the teenagers in the audience will love it.
In other words, the mega-popular comedians put together a film (actually, two ... ...necessary – at least for Scary Movie 2.
The film begins with a very wicked take on The Exorcist, in which a trio of priests are attempting to exorcise demons from the stereotypical Possessed Chick (who happens to pee on the carpet, much like a dog). Watching the priests and other guests in the girl’s parents’ house singing "Shake Yer Ass" is truly a laugh riot, as it’s part of the opening dialogue, but it only gets better ...

Scary Movie 2 was a much anticipated movie for myself. I loved Scary Movie you see, it was just hilarious in parts and really could take the p**s out of other movies. All the actors were excellent in their role and it sits proudly in my DVD collection. However, after seeing some of the ratings for the 2nd helping of Scary Movie I wasn’t too convinced! I never did get around to watching it until the other night when me and a few mates decided ... ...like it or lump it! Scary Movie tries its hardest to rip the p**s out of other movies on the market, The Exorcist, The Matrix, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and Charlie’s Angels are just some I can think up at the moment, but every scene is trying to take the micky out of some kind of movie somewhere. ...I had loved the first scary movie, I thought this would be up my alley.
I have read and heard only bad things about this movie from critics, but I think they are taking the whole thing slightly too seriously. I will firstly point out (a disclaimer) that I bear no grudge against homosexuals, I do not think being disabled is funny, and the p*ss should be taken out of situations, not necessarily people. Paedophiles have a problem, and although I thought ... ...well… I’m being serious, read on and see why.

Scary Movie two opens with a priest being called in to ‘unposess’ a young lass! Typically this is supposed to be a spoof of the film ‘the exorcist’. They end up throwing up buckets of green pea soup over each other! The tongues are swishing about, and the scenes are not they entertaining with the young lass doing a piddle the size a horse would do – is that funny? I think not!
A year later ... ...to make a sequel to scary movie-God forbid a sequel to Scary Movie 2?) This eventually does have a ‘mild’ storyline, which can be followed. Some of the scenes are funny though very crude and rude. Other scenes are not funny or scary – just a waste of time. If you enjoyed Scary movie one or films of this nature then you’d like this, but otherwise best avoided. And by the way one last thing if a caretaker called Hanson offers ...

...We decided to watch Scary movie 2! Having not seen Scary movie 1 I was a bit dubious, would we be able to pick up the plot? Would there be references to the first movie? Would it be really scary?! John however, convinced me that it’s a spoof of films like scream and Halloween. This puzzled me because I was lead to believe that Scream was actually a spoof of Halloween and movies of that era. Surely that would make the scary movies a spoof of ... ...where the possessed girl lives. Scary movie 2 shows the exorcist leave the car in the same manner, then we hear the cab driver shouting him to pay his fare as he walks off! The best scene has got to be the replica of the unforgettable green vomit from The Exorcist! I won’t say too much to spoil all the good bits but believe me it will have you in hysterics.

Scary Movie was a pretty strange concept in the first place. It spoofed the slasher genre, picking particularly on the Scream series of movies for its inspiration and main target...interesting seeing as Scream was a spoof in the first place. But then I suppose spoofing a spoof IS something new and I actually thought the movie was pretty funny...in a gross, juvenile kind of way. I was rather looking forward to the inevitable sequel but was more than ... ...after Scary movie, I had fears that there hadn't been enough time spent inbetween movies for there to have been a decent, really funny script written and went in to watch it thinking that it wouldn't be very good. Sometimes I just hate being proven right.. Scarey Movie 2 is not a good movie, its not even a good concept which the first 5 minutes will tell you you that. ...the director of the 1st Scary movie. He is also an actor, Comedian, Writer and Producer. So basically he is multi-talented. He hasn't directed many recent ones only 2 that I didn't really enjoy watching and that is "White Chicks" and "Little Man". I'm not sure I'm enjoy watching his films, only Scary Movie, I enjoy!
Cindy Campbell is played by Anna Faris. She really famous and can be seen in lots of films, I would say she's becoming not only a more ... ...This Film, "Scary Movie 3", Scary Movie 4", "My Super Ex-Girlfriend", "Brokeback Mountain" & "The House Bunny". She is a really good actress because I've watched a few of those films and I barely recognise her, let alone imagine her being a totally different character. She played Cindy brilliantly!
The other actors and actresses are seen in most of the scary movie films and in different films, and you may glimpse them in some other films, however ...

In the first Scary Movie we saw the mick taking of a number of films, which were The Matrix, Don’t Be A Menace In South Central While Drinking The Juice In The Hood (it’s a real film, honest!), Halloween H20, I Know What You Did Last Summer and the main one, Scream. The latest film takes a different approach, as after watching the first film you would expect the sequel to include the mass-murdering Scream killer, but it doesn’t.
... ...We see in the first Scary Movie how it evolves into the funny Matrix episode while Cindy is fighting Scream and a similar episode evolves this time around with three of the girls, including Cindy dressed up in Charlie’s Angel style clothes and fighting the possessed butler with a dodgy hand.

...the big screen. Scary Movie 2 is frankly the worst film I've seen this year at the movies. It's not the worst film of the year, that honour still belongs to the tragic 'Dude, Wheres My Car?'. It's one year later and Cindy (Anna Faris) is at college with Shorty (Marlon Wayans). There's a new bunch of kids and somehow Ray (Shawn Wayans) and Brenda (Regina Hall) have been re-incarnated as themselves. Anyway a professor (Tim Curry) and his wheelchair ... ...house so they can finally unlock the mysteries behind the paranormal. Cue a long line of spoofs and attempts at comedy. It's very difficult to know where to start at what's wrong with this film. For starters you have returning cast members that dies in the first one. ...(if your really dumb its scary movie too) but it is still a top film.
Incase you haven’t seen the last one, these two films are spoofs of other films and they are very funny.
This film takes the Mickey out of scream 2 and 3, the haunting, dude where’s my car, and various other scary movies.
Basically the basic plot is all the people from the last film (who are still alive) have to go and have their sleep monitored by a professor who ... ...have only rented this film I don’t know whether it has any kind of special features on it but I can only think that they would be hilarious.
So in conclusion this film is great it ain’t got anything on scary movie but still it’s a good wholesome laugh. ...
