...to make a sequel to scary movie-God forbid a sequel to Scary Movie 2?) This eventually does have a ‘mild’ storyline, which can be followed. Some of the scenes are funny though very crude and rude. ...next viewing. We decided to watch Scary movie 2! Having not seen Scary movie 1 I was a bit dubious, would we be able to pick up the plot? Would there be references to the first movie? Scary Movie was a pretty strange concept in the first place. It spoofed the slasher genre, picking particularly on the Scream series of movies for its inspiration and main target...interesting seeing as Scream was a spoof in the first place. ...the director of the 1st Scary movie. He is also an actor, Comedian, Writer and Producer. So basically he is multi-talented. In the first Scary Movie we saw the mick taking of a number of films, which were The Matrix, Don’t Be A Menace In South Central While Drinking The Juice In The Hood (it’s a real film, honest!), Halloween H20, I Know What You Did Last Summer and the main one, Scream. Let me start off by saying that I liked the first film. I thought it was pretty funny and did a good job of spoofing horror films. Hell I even have it on dvd and saw it twice while in New York last year. That's why I remember the tag line ending with the lines "NO SEQUEL".
