...- Sabrina. (NOTE: Sabrina is known as Sabrina Fair in the UK, but as my copy says Sabrina, I will refer to it as that throughout.)
Sabrina was released in 1954 and stars Audrey Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart and William Holden. It is in black and white, rated U and is 109 minutes long. The film received six Oscar nominations, but won only one for costume. PLOT

...Hepburn films, I was delighted. Sabrina Fair is not one of her better known films, but it's an enjoyable, light-hearted film that amused us for a couple of hours and gave me a bit of a break from the stories! The film was remade in 1995 starring Harrison Ford, Julia Ormond and Greg Kinnear; although I haven't seen it, the reviews have been good.

Advantages: Well written, directed and performed Disadvantages: Wilder fans may be disappointed as perhaps a little light-weight for him
...Wilder, this film is about Sabrina Fairchild (Audrey Hepburn), a chauffeur's daughter infatuated with one of her fathers' bosses' sons Larrabee (William Holden). He sees her as just a child so distraught she heads for Paris to a chef school and returns a sophisticated woman of the world. Unrecognisable, David falls for her although already engaged to another woman whose family are engaged in a business deal with David's brother Linus (Humphrey Bogart). ... ...attempt to do so, courts Sabrina himself. This is a light-hearted and very entertaining romantic comedy. It may not be one of Wilder's best but is entertaining nonetheless. All the leads perform admirably. Although Hepburn is not altogether believable pre-Paris trip as the forgettable chauffeurs daughter, she comes into her own as you would expect once a woman of the world. Holden is entertaining as the charming but lazy brother although the part ...

Advantages: Good Girly feel good film Disadvantages: Audrey Hepburn was just too perfect
I saw this and had to write this review.
This is a story of a chauffer's daughter who falls in love with the rich son of her father's employer The Larrabees. This tells us the story of a young girls love, obsession and dreams and her growth into woman hood, whilst holding out on the hope that one day she would be the girl dancing in the arms of the mans she loves at the glamourous parties his family hold.
Having moved to Paris to study she comes ... ...affections of her life long dream man, much to the dismay of the his family who had plans for him to marry another rich entrepeneurs daughter therefore enhancing the family fortune.
Not to let romance get in the way of business, the young Mr larrabee's older and much more dominant brother (played by none other than Mr Bogart) dates and trys to put off the young Miss Hepburn, however in doing so he falls under the charms of this young clever and ...
