Advantages: Some good comedy and the reunited partnership of Lee and Carter Disadvantages: Could prove to be the same thing again
...last. I've really enjoyed the Rush Hour films over the years and while this one is quite funny I think the appeal has now worn off. The first 2 films were incredibly funny and while this one still plays on the stereotypes set up in the first two films it is perhaps the final time they could actually get away with extending this franchise any further. That said it is still a very funny movie that both adults and teenagers will be able to enjoy.
For ... ...scene's that really set the Rush Hour movies apart from a lot of Chan's over comedy/martial arts films. The fight scenes are very clever and superbly choreographed. In particular the scenes at the top of the Eiffel Tower are very well done and really look the part. The plot is quite good and follows the same sort of lines as the first couple of films, where Lee and Carter are thrown together by circumstance. The plot is quite fast paced and action ...

Advantages: It's short. Disadvantages: The direction is dreadful, the writing offensive and the performances worse.
Carter and Lee are back! After an assassination attempt on an old friend, they are sent to Paris to look into the dealings of a dangerous group of Triads on behalf of Jules Reynard. But creepy Detective Revi doesn't want a couple of foreigners on his patch. Along the way, the mismatched duo come across as bevy of beautiful women, a blind kung fu master and a villain from Lee's past.
Hack-for-hire Brett Ratner is back with the final nail in the coffin ... ...shows the law of diminishing returns in action. Looking at any of the actors you know they only got involved because they could hear the cash registers ringing. The problem Ratner has it that he doesn't start from a solid premise. He appears to shoot the film around his stars' apparent talents. So expect plenty of fight scenes and silly stunts from Jackie Chan and prolonged bouts of high-pitched ad-libbing from Chris Tucker. But don't expect them ...

Advantages: It's a brief 80-minutes, Chan is great Disadvantages: Tucker is more annoying than ever, thin tired plot
The Rush Hour films are not exactly high art, they're standard buddy cop movies that follow the usual format of two characters coming together and despite their differences, beating the bad guys and saving the day.
The first film served its purpose and its main achievement for me was bringing the talents of Jackie Chan to a wider audience. It certainly made me check out his eastern films such as The Police Story series, films that show his madcap ... ...Tower.
The problem with Rush Hour 3 is that is really struggles to offer something new on what is already a repetitive format. We've already seen Carter do his Michael Jackson impressions in previous instalments; do we really need to see it several times again? We've seen Carter try his moves on some hot women, no problem here it is again! The only thing that this film has going for it is again Chan's fight scenes but even these feel a little undercooked ...

...their antics in the funniest Rush Hour yet!
For those who have never seen a Rush Hour movie. Agent Carter works for the LAPD and Agent Lee works for the Chinese Secret Service and is one of the most valued agents. They are not just partners but close friends now. From the beginning, the movie will ... ...and maybe even the best Rush Hour movie yet. Though there is a lack of a story line, the humour value covers this up well and you do not realise that the story line is weak. You are kept entertained throughtout the movie and at the end, left wanting more from the comic duo. The writers of Rush Hour have really out done themselves this time!

Rush Hour 3
This is the 3rd incarnation of the series of films staring Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan. If you have not seen one of the other 2 films before then it not much of a big deal as you can still watch this film without any confusion because of it relating to previous films. If you have watched one or both of the Other Rush Hour films then this is pretty much the same deal with Chris Tucker as LAPD Detective inspector James Carter and Jackie ... ...value to the two other Rush hour films so if your looking for something new out of this film forget it its more of the same. Secondly is Chris Tucker although extremely funny throughout the film does get a little annoying with his constant shouting.
All things considered though this is still a good family entertainment film and is always worth a watch even if you haven't seen the other two films, Jackie Chan is probably the star of the film taking ...

...Shu from Brett Ratner's series? Rush Hour 3 entertains at the same time as keeping it simple.
If you are looking for a cinematic masterpiece with outstanding character acting and complex plotlines that are going to troub le other films for an Oscar, you're in the wrong place. If you want an action-filled laugh a minute film that's just going to be sheer fun, you're in the right place.
I think it's safe to say that with Rush Hour 3, we always knew ... ...The important things are what Rush Hour fans look for: Tucker's wisecracks and Chan's acrobatic martial arts. There is a fine turn from Max Von Sydow as a French diplomat, and villains Kenji and the Dragon Lady are admirably played by Hiroyuki Sanada and Youki Kudoh, both with impressive previous credit listings. The star of the supporting cast though is George the taxi driver, played amazingly by Yvan Attal.
The film is just short of 90 minutes, ...

Advantages: Great acting from Chris Tucker and excellent stunts from Jackie Chan Disadvantages: Not enough stunts, not the greatest plot, vague conclusion
...the last installment of the rush hour films and stars Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan as Detective Carter and Chief Inspector Lee. The official summary - When a Chinese criminal mastermind flees to Paris, there's only one culture-clashed, crime-fighting duo for the job. Ready to raise hell in the city of lights, Chief Inspector Lee (Chan) and Detective Carter (Tucker) instead get caught in an explosive battle between the French police, the Triad gang ... ...excellent like in the previous Rush Hours, Chris Tucker is especially funny and Jackie Chan's stunts are as ever unbelievable and spectacular, however there could be more stunts. The plot of the film in my opinion isn't the most original or most endeering, but the acting certainly makes up for it. I also believe that another Rush Hour must be coming out due to the very vague conclusion of the film which leaves the viewer thinking is this really the ...

Quick review of Rush Hour 3 (DVD)
I recently watched this movie at the pictures and i have to say...i haven't laughed so much in a long time. Its no where near as good as Rush hour or Rush hour 2 but its still got the same comedy factor. You just cant beat Chris Tucker's high pitched voice and Jackie Chan's seriousness. They made it really good for a PG-13 movie...it was deffo worth the 90 minutes i spent watching it.
P.S: Just wait for the Taxi driver scene! really cracked me up. ...

Advantages: Great action comedy, Fun for all ages, Disadvantages: Had to wait six years for the film!, Last in the Rush hour films
...and final film in the rush our trilogy, i personally have been to see the film twice at the cinema. I think that it is a great action comedy, and the duo of chris tucker and jackie chan excels to a new level of funny. This was a long awaited film as there was a 6 year gap in between rush hour 2 and rush hour 3! I certainly couldnt wait to see this film and as soon as it came out me and my friends was down there faster than you could say rush hour. ... ...three years after rush hour 2.
The film starts off in america with James Carter (chris tucker) directing traffic as a police officer and Li (Jackie chan) being a personal body guard to ambassador Han who most fans will know as the council from rush hour 1. As the film progresses they go to Paris to try and stop the triad gang for good. As always they show the out takes at the end of the film which adds the extra laughs ontop of the film itself.

The Film

I'm a person who likes a good comedy and in all fairness I'm willing to take a few jokes I've heard before but this film… It just seems like the whole film has been done already, in the first 2 films I suppose. I'm really struggling to find anything good about this film, as it was a complete let down. All I can say is I'm glad I only rented it and didn't waste any more money on it. The stunts are pretty good, however they're all the same and stunts alone aren't going to keep many viewers fixed to the screen. If you like Jackie Chan movies then maybe you'd consider watching this, however for people out there looking for a good ...

Rush Hour 3...The best movie ever!!! If you want to watch a funny movie this is the one to watch. With the lead characters played by Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker you expect nothing less than an excellent performance and thats what you get. Chris Tucker plays the self confident american cop Carter with Jackie Chan playing the karate kicking Lee. They both give solid performances leaving you in fits of laughter even after the movie is over. Chris Tucker ... ...actors can be just by playing off each other and make the whole movie a great watch.
Special effects were used more in this film it seemed than the first two and they were noticable when they were brought into play. But overall they aided a great storyline which kept you watching all the way through.
To tell the truth i cant recall much of the soundtrack but i dont remeber saying anything bad about it so it must have been ok.
