Out of all the Rocky sequels, Rocky 5 is one
of the best ones, and it's the last one in the series. Even more surprising is that the film has good acting, great scenes, and it's very realistic too.
Sylvester Stallone even wrote the story for it. After his last fight, with the Russian Drago, Balboa (Stallone) starts to feel pain, which turns out to be a concussion to his brain which has left him in pain.
As added damaged Balboa, finds out that ...

...the TV Guide and realised Rocky 5 was on, I felt this sudden urge to write a review about it. I have watched Rocky so many times, but what came to my mind was one of my History lessons a couple of years a go. I hope you will find the new spin on Rocky 5 interesting.

...even know there was a Rocky V. I thought the saga ended with Rocky beating the Russian powerhouse (in highly unrealistic fashion). Personally, I think they would have been better off leaving it at that.
The storyline in this one is different to the others, but a little strange. Basically, Rocky ends up bankrupt because of some tax problems and is forced to retire from boxing because of brain damage. So he returns to the place he came from where. ...

Advantages: Not many unfortunately - the fight at the end? Disadvantages: Ruins the series
...in law Paulie's nose. So Rocky has to got back to his home town, into a tiny house, and his kid has to go to a normal school. Rocky has been diagnosed with brain damage, so can't get a licence to fight, so he can't make his money back. A young fighter, Billy Gunn approaches him for some help and Rocky agrees to train him, even though it means not spending any time with his son. Sylvester Stallone does a good job here, slurring his words more than ...

Now Rocky is forced back to the unsavory life which was shown in parts I and II. He finds a second chance when he runs into young boxer Tommy Gunn (Tommy Morrison) and decides to train him. Advantages: gutsy comeback for old hero rocky Disadvantages: emotional downturn

Rocky is back in his home town almost reminecsent to rocky 1 which saw a rooky boxer fighting at local level taken up to the lime light a greedy boxer after some publicity. This film is different, and is brought to life when a controvertial boxing game brings together ...
