Rocky 5 written by and starring Silvester Stallone is one of the best Rocky films made. Sly Stallone was at his usual best and Dolph Lungren as Ivan Drago was absolutely fantastic. The fight scenes were well made and at times were realistic. The only problem with the movie was that there was alot of emphasis on cold war politics rather than just plain fighting. There was alot of tension in the film in certain places, this was due to Lungren who ...
...in the film to keep Rocky fans entertained although I thought there could have been more story to the film. Sly was either talking to his family or fighting. Compared to Rocky 2 there were a few scenes which didn't live to expectations. This is due to the absents of his trainer. ...now on DVD. I purchased Rocky 4 for only £4.99 and spent a hugely entertaining evening watching it. The film originally came out when I was 14 years old and the difference between watching it then and now I am in my 30's was highly amusing. This one begins with a tradegy, the death of the loved and once great champion Apollo Creed. ...movies ever made! Many saw Rocky III ft Mr T as a flop but Stallone defiantely makes up for it in this bout with the Russian, literal human killing, giant. Highly reccomend this movie to anyone. This is one of the best films ever, when i saw this movie many years ago i loved it, it is sylvester stallone at his best, he is a pure genius when it comes to acting and this movie won a few oscars as did the sequals and prequals, rocky is about a man who is trying to make a name for himself in the ring, he is a pro boxer who starts from the bottom and makes his way to the top, he is the ultimate under dogg story, rocky is by far one of sylvester stallones movies, rocky 4 is just amazing, i tell anyone to watch it because it is entertaining and really full of boxing action and drama, hope you enjoy it like i did, Please buy it! ...

...start at the roots. Rocky Bilboa started off as a "Bum" as Micky (Rocky's Coach) would say. He was losing fighters and was training in a cheap gym in philadelphia. Then he got a shot at the title and so the rocky montage was born. With the most well known being "Gonna Fly Now" Slyvester Stallone who playes Rocky is the perfect actor for the part in the sense that he has the image of a boxer. He has a slightly bashed in face and speaks very droopy ...

Rocky says he's "Retired" (Haven't we heard this before..) and when the Boxing Champion of Russia: Ivan Drago (He is a massive guy who is pumped with steroids which of course makes him very muscular) wants an exhibition match in America, Rocky COACHES Dragos opponent.(You'll have to watch to find out the opponent if you dont know.) It has a outstanding script and a original rocky style theme plot In rocky 4, Rocky finally decides to retire from boxing however a young gun ivan drago wants a shot at his title. In this film Rocky IV, the talented boxer is put up what seems to be an undefeatable brick s**t house. Rocky strugles to prove the Russian wrong but of course the almighty Rocky punches his way through a number of difficult rounds and eventually wins the fight. All the rocky films are exceptionally good but this one i feel has got to be the best. Rocky obviosly gave it all he had and basically spelt out who exactly was king of the ring!! Rocky films ...
...while to calm down after watching any one of the rocky films. Sylvester Stallone has done many other good pieces of acting but the best he has done will always be the Rocky films. It wouldnt be the same without him. They are probably my favourite set of films ever!!! ...
