Well what to say and Resident Evil 2? First off I liked the first film, ok it wasnt anything like the game but it was ok. The second film is a bit better. Mostly for two very plain reasons, better story and a better director. Paul Anderson did a better job of writing RE:2 than the last film and he did tie up all the loose ends that remained and Alexander Witt did an excellent job directing.
