...to conquer the movie world. Resident evil made a slowish start. The first film was watchable, and for a fan of the games like myself, it was entertaining. Video game to movie conversions are funny things. What can make a great story in a game doesn't always makie for great viewing as a film. ...a fan of the first resident evil film then this is one for you. Even if you haven't seen the first one then you should still go and see it but preferably after you have seen the first one. Milla Jovovich is back as Alice, she has awoken in Racoon city and is unsure what has happened. The scientists have been playing around with her again and many other things. The original Resident Evil film was based on the 1996 Playstsion game of the same name. It was an excellent game which drew heavily on the classic zombie horror films of the 1970s and then went a notch further by deeply emmersing the player into the action, thus fulfilling every horror fans fantasy.
