Advantages: Great entertainment, heated arguements a plenty! Disadvantages: Too many stupid, arrogant chef's in the show!
Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares is a great show, and in my opinion is one of the best programs on tv at the moment, although this isn't difficult as the quality of programs being broadcasted at the moment is very poor. Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares is broadcasted on Channel 4, and has done since the series first aired in 2004. The show has since gone on to make 5 series, all of which have been excellent, and I genuinely can't remember a poor episode being ... ...a dull moment in the Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares shows, as with nearly every episode, Chef Ramsay is faced with a stereotypically, obnoxious, 'head-up-his-own-@rse' (Ramsay's own words) chef, who fails to accept his own faults and lack of abilities. This is almost a recurring theme throughout the series, and often leads to many heated disputes and confrontations, of which there is always only one winner. To be fair to Ramsay, he never seems to back ...

The basic premise of this series: Gordon Ramsay goes to a struggling restaurant, tells the chef the food is sh*t and the owner he's a wan*er. The owner kicks off and argues with Gordon, before giving into his proposals, and finally rejoicing when Gordon saves the restaurant from going down the pan, all in the space of a week. This DVD release sees Gordon return to four of the restaurants he worked in for series 1: Bonapartes Restaurant, Silsden, ... ...Tree Inn, Llandewi Skirrid, South Wales Moore Place, Esher, England Basically, they re-hash the original episode (re-showing most of it), then Gordon goes back to see how they're doing now. Ramsay is an intriguing character. He first came onto our screens in the documentary 'boiling point' which followed his kitchen for a bit. The public was outraged at how much he swore and shouted, but Gordon said that was life in the kitchen. Gordon had learnt ...

He then goes and examines the kitchen and often finds this to be lacking too. It is generally in the kitchen that we see the main problem with the restaurant, often a lazy chef using sub standard ingredients to save time or money. Gordon shouts and swears a bit before coming up with a good plan to turn the restaurant around and regain its reputation. ...

Quick review of Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares Revisited (DVD)
He swears a lot. And he bullys people. And he is arrogant. But he knows what he's doing. Some of the places on here are in a right state, awful food and the chefs have no clue. You should see what he finds in the fridge! Well worth watching, even just for the shocking state the kitchens are in. ...
