Sadly I missed Racing Stripes in the cinema but quickly got hold a copy once it became available on DVD and I am very glad that I did. The film, is a classic, focussing on a baby zebra who is left behind, in a severe thunderstorm by the travelling circus. ...to achieve his dream of racing against the other racehorses. I have no children and like to believe that I am an Adult, but sometimes kids films are just better! This isn't Shrek and the humour isn't adult, dont be fooled that this is animated, just because of the film case. The animals are real! Disadvantages: bit slow at the start

Bought this on a whim when I found it in the bargain section for £2.99. I first watched it with my parents both in their 60s and the three of us couldn't stop laughing. Watch out for the flies and the pelican they'll have you in stitches. The film about a zebra who is brought up believing he is a horse. Advantages: Very high on the 'aww' factor
Disadvantages: Very predictable

This is not the type of film I would normally watch, but my ex's little sister loves this genre. We first saw the film on T.V. and fell in love with it, it's high on the cute factor, and is very girly, though there are enough funny scenes and clever bits (as my seven year old put it)€ to make it suitable for boys too.
