Advantages: Fantastically woven storyline, quality script
Disadvantages: not for the squeamish...

...effects fests like 'Terminator 2'. Pulp Fiction can also be taken as purely to be enjoyed as the title suggests, like the trashy novels you might like to read, enjoy briefly and then throw away. Disadvantages: Goes on far too long

Pulp Fiction is often identified as some peoples favourite film. There is no doubt it has acquired cult status as has its director and co-writer Quentin Tarantino. Just as certainly like many cult films it partly but only partly deserves its status in any list of truly great films. Pulp Fiction is one of my favourite films, I love all the films that Quentin Tarrantino has been involved with, but this has to be my most favourite. For a start you have lots of big names like John Travolta, Bruce Willis, Samuel L Jackson, Uma Thurman and Harvey Keitel.
