I wasn't planning on actually watching the film and when it began I thought I would just watch some of it but, before I knew it, the film was finishing and I hadn't moved from my seat as it was so gripping. I watched this film recently without hoping for much as I knew it had been released the previous year and had never got round to watching it as it wasn't one that I thought would be up to much! I wish I had watched it sooner now as I thought the film was of high quality with a good mix of special effects, actors and action. It really is the new Titanic but with a little less love. This movie is intense, and will have everyone on the edge of their seats when watching it. When the cruise ship 'poseidon' is over turned by a freak wave alot of people are trapped with no way out, however a small group of people try to get to the bottom of the ship, which just happens to be up now.
