I think this is the only time i've ever came out of the cinema pondering the wonders of peanuts (it will make sense if you've seen the film) so i guess i can say with quite a lot of confidence that this film was a little surreal at times...portraying Captain Jack's 'lost soul' and well...insanity. Pirates of the Caribbean : At worlds end is (hopefully) the final installment of this series, although based on the money its made don't be surprised if another does turn up. Firstly i would suggest watching the previous one before going to watch this, because they continue on from each other, and if you don't you'll end up spending the first 20 minutes trying to remember what had happened in the first. Caught between life and death Depps character, Jack Sparrow, plans his escape while William and Elizabeth (Bloom and Knightly) plan his rescue. Barbosa returns for the action and adventure which brings the story back onto Davy Jones, excellently portrayed by Bill Nighey, and his dreaded pet/weapon the Kracken. ...blink an eye without missing pirates being impaled at all angles; but of course this is what we love and expect from Pirates Of The Carribean.
