Advantages: It proves you can't polish a turd. Disadvantages: Dreadful writing, self-indulgent direction and performances. An ignominious end to a promising franchise.
...the grim opening that shows pirates including children being hanged. His palette reflects this with lots of greys and blues and the characters are taking themselves far more seriously than before. The body count is humungous, with many franchise stalwarts buying the farm and a particularly gruesome death for one of the bad guys. But the drama is often undermined by comic asides. However the gag ratio is much lower than in the other films and the swashbuckling ...

Advantages: another good film Disadvantages: requires a lot of concerntration
...third installation of the ever-popular Pirates we find our heroes Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) allied with Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) in a desperate quest to free Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp).
I think all the characters in this film are fantastic and I could watch Captain Jack Sparrow all day he has me in stitches, Johnny Depp plays this role so well.
The special effects are wonderful.

...to DVD.
The third in the Pirates of the Caribbean series (although not necessarily the last judging by the ending) is a stunning visual. The CGI is absolutely flawless and you feel as if you really are there.
The plot twists and turns many times, as the 161 minute movie desperately tries to cram in everything expected of it and more.
Gore Verbinski directs this amazing piece of film and in my opinion, makes it not feel too rushed, which was a major ...

...has been written for the Pirates of the Caribbean series. After the return of Captain Barbosa at the end of Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Mans Chest, the crew head out trying to find the infamous Captain Jack Sparrow who is trapped in Davy Jones locker. I find this storyline was long and it wasnt very exciting, unlike the first 2 parts of this trilogy.

Love the action, the suspense, but Johnny Depp still doesn't make me smile I'm afraid. And Keira's pouting lips are a put-off!
It seems to me that film's liek this are just another step in the chain of making money for the company involved. They supply the expected scenes of action, suspense, drama and romance, but are inadequate in providing a more direct and powerful movie. I'm not belittling the movie, but I do feel that it could have be much more rich in entertainment and emotion.

Advantages: Johnny Depp(Savvy ?), Geoffery Rush. Enough said. Disadvantages: Depends on your attitude but by mine "none."
...situation as King of the Pirates (Elizabeth Swan) should be knowing it.
Well the best after Jack Sparrow is offcourse Geoffery Rush or you can say Hector( Babosa). A great perfomance as great as oscar winning. Enough said.
The other perfomances by Lord Becett, Davy Jones, norrinton, Captian T, miss Fish are also great and worth watching. and comic perfomances by other actors was good too.
A great line of story and good direction.
In the nutshell, ...
