Advantages: good story, great acting, nice effects. Disadvantages: you probably won't understand if you haven't seen the others.
...anticipated third film in the Pirates of the Caribbean series which has caused a lot of excitement. After the release of the first movie 'The Curse of the Black Pearl' everyone thought it was a great film but wasn't sure about it's future, nobody knew if there was going to be a sequel to it however much everyone wanted it. This film shows that their is a lot more to all of the characters than we have been lead to believe. Elizabeth's role has become of increasing importance in all the films but this she takes the lead and makes a few good decisions that influence things greatly. Advantages: Captivating, intriquing storyline and unpredictable Disadvantages: Some scenes were too long
...to go and see The Pirates of the Caribbean for it’s UK premier along with my twelve year old daughter and her friends, I was uncertain for two reasons. One, I had had a very late night the previous night and two, I had not seen Pirates of the Caribbean 2, Dead Man’s Chest. After settling myself down for the three hour stint and enduring the big feature previews, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the film held my attention well. Having omitted ... ...to the preceding sequence of events, but the assumptions I made during the movie helped fill in the gaps reasonably well and the film was not too hard to follow (I understand some people find the plot very confusing anyway and I confess, I didn't fully understand the story in it's entirety). The first thing that caught my attention was the magnificent set, CGI generated of course but the artistry and design skill of the film makers were tremendous ...
