...secret of being a huge Pink Floyd fan. The Wall is one of my favourite of their albums and I vividly recalled several images from the film of the same name, from when I saw it in 1988. Last night, I decided to watch it again to see what I felt about it this time. It's not an entirely pleasant experience. You have been warned!

Scarfe's animation evokes a variety of emotional responses. One of the sequences is very sexual with flowers impregnating in a way which feels violent like rape. But some of the visual images are beautiful, my favourite being the leaf rolling over in the breeze, becoming a naked faceless body.

Advantages: nice music, grate art Disadvantages: not visually suitable for people under the age of 15

the metaphors in the film were numerous IE @ the end children picking up debris from an exploding wall shows how when ever there is anything like a war or a attempted/coup it is always the next generation that has to pick up the pieces & suffers, This film lasts approximately 95 Min's long, shortly after they made this film pink Floyd disbanded ... ...story line is: ==the character pink (played by roger waters) is sitting in his room having flash backs of his past, he remembers how he launched an army of fascists in a campaign to clear up all non perfect people, and the events that lead up to it, including his child hood & how his dad died in a war, in the end he is up against a judge whom sentences him to be 'exposed to his peers'
