...Universal who released the DVD? Peter Kay? Certainly not for the fan who has the Bolton DVD. It would be the "perfect christmas gift to dissappoint". I am thoroughly disappointed with this. I am a fan and already have the Bolton Albert Halls, so this may end up on eBay and I might buy the new Jim Davidson instead!!! If you want to watch this, I would recommend renting it if you have seen Bolton Albert Halls. It is worth watching the documentary ...

...quite difficult to believe that Peter Kay has released this DVD and I have lost quite a bit of respect for him because of this. The cover boasts that this was the special final-leg of Peter's 'Mum wants a bungalow' tour, leading me to initially believe that it would feature new material. I was, however, incorrect and, not only is the show featured a near-exact replica of the Bolton Halls show, I also realised I had already seen this show on Channel ...
...surprise. It is clear that Peter is simply cashing-in on his popularity at the moment (I've also noticed that a 'Best of Peter Kay' CD has recently been released, featuring some very questinable tracks) and it also seems that he has no intention of releasing new material in the future. I couldn't really recommend this DVD to anyone becasue, even if you don't own the previous DVD, the Bolton Halls performance is a far superior, more confident one ...

...the beggining you do get Peter Kay walking towards the stage while singing "The way to Amarillo" which is quite funny, especially when he's got 2 big guys behind him imitating the female background voices. To my opinion that's where the DVD finishes. Yes, it's Peter Kay, yes he's great and yes, the act is as funny as it can be. The jokes are hilarious, his comments on life's reality are superb and his dancing moves could dazzle off those of John ...
...a different answer other than Peter Kay wants to meake more money out of the same gags. I love Peter Kay, I personally he's a genius of our time. ...I'm here to review the Peter Kay Live at the Manchester Arena. It is the final part of the 180 date "mum wants a bungalow tour" which is fantastic. It is rated 15 because it does have moderate swearing in it but that doesnt matter too much to me. I bought this DVD because I have the other two Peter Kay DVDs I think he is the best comedian alive. ...is all mainly in the Peter Kay at the Bolton Albert Hall but I was still crying with laughter by the end of it. The only problem with this DVD is that like me if you have the other two DVDs then it isn't as good because a lot of the jokes have been told before but there are some new ones. The extras on it are a One Hundred And Eighty Tour Documentary and the number one hit single "Is This the Way to Amarillo" oringinal video. I would recommend it ...

...We settled down to watch Peter Kay perform the same show, only this doesn't even show the full version of his performance. I would estimate that you get about half of it here with another 25% or so added on as extras, but in a very disjointed way. The so-called documentary is little more than a half-hearted interview really and does not bear repeat viewing. You do get the Amarillo video, but by the time I got to this I thought 'so what?'
