Advantages: Funny, clever, innovative. One of the bests things on TV Disadvantages: Only six episodes per series.
David Mitchell and Robert Webb, who brought you both That Mitchell and Webb Sound and Look, deliver what is probably the best british sitcom in the last 20 years. As most things do these days, it has a twist, as the name suggests its all done from a particular point of view, WHOSE point of view we see the situation from can change several times thoughout a scene. It may sound a little jarring, but thanks to the care that went into the shooting and ... ...Jeremy share a flat together in Croydon, after becoming friends at university, now in there late 20's, Mark is socially awkward and sensible, working as a loan manager in a job he takes a great deal of pride in, while Jeremy is unemployed, sexually ambiguous and convinced he can make it as a musician. Kind of a like an English version of the original Odd Couple, only with much more swearing and more drug and sex jokes, the program follows the pair ...

Advantages: Brilliant script and well suited roles Disadvantages: sometimes extreme sence of humour needed
Peep Show! What can I say, a brilliantly fantastic new type of comedy which has managed to survive 5 series with yet another to come. The story is based on thirty somethings jez and mark that live in Marks flat in Croydon. Jez and Mark are the complete opposites of each other in some respects but they both have neurotic minds and moments of absurd madness. Jez doesn't work most of the time but is pursuing his dream of being a musician, which doesn't ... ...perhaps that the popularity of peep show has only been notable in the build up to the fifth series even though it has been hailed by many as the greatest sitcom of its age. This is the type of program which could take a bit of time to get used to but will quickly become addictive. The extreme and sometimes discomforting humour is perhaps more suited to a British audience but this is soon dismissed by laughter.
This should not be compared to "that ...

Advantages: Because of the new series the box set isn't complete, which means it will be cheaper! Disadvantages: It isnt the complete box set so you'll have to buy the new dvds seperatly or wait for the new set!
Peep Show... The show that introduced David Mitchell and Robert Webb to our TV screens. Some men might not admit it but we all have a little Mark and Jeremy in us. The show highlights the insecurities and arrogances of the 2 main characters via a running commentary of their inner monologues and thoughts to hilarious effect. This show is about the day to day struggles of the modern man, they have a pretty immature outlook on life so its a humor probably ... ...on the box. Its a Peep Show into the lives of Mark, a geek who holds down a boring 9 - 5 job in finance, showing his uselessness with women and strange obsessive tendencies and Jeremy, Marks unemployed best mate who shares the flat struggling as a musician. Rather than try to outline the basic plot-line for you for the whole box set I would rather tell you about a few quotes that stick in my mind... Mark: "I'm about to walk into a boardroom gangbang ...
