There is one thing very wrong with this movie....the romantic context. It takes a lot to believe in a film when they bring together two characters to fall in love....in this case Kevin Spacey and Helen Hunt lacked sparks and genuine reasons why they would want to be together. ...other people and those people pay it forward. So as you see if the chain is not broken the "pay it forward" motion is carried as far as the chain allows it to. I couldn't believe how simple, yet effective this storyline could be! I was hooked after that first 1/2 hour! Hayley Joel-Osment, Helen Hunt and Kevin Spacey were fantastic! They made a good film even more watchable, with the emotional ups and down's of Helen Hunt playing an Alcoholic mother ...

Trevour first tried to help an homeless guy and then his Kevin Spacey and finally Helen Hunt, who played Trevour's mum. This is a really heart warming film, I mean this world is so messed up that the ideal world in Trevour's mind would be real nice!!!!! This film was straongly recommended to me and so I had very high expectations of the film!!! To begin with I was uncertain with the action however as the film began to unfold I realised how cleverly the film was put together. The film is based around a class of students being set a year homework, to come up with a plan to change the world in some way of other. Trevor, the lead role, took the task seriously and gets straight on with his plan. He comes ...
...of 3 people. In return he asks for theses threee people to "pay it forward". Basically to help another 3 people and keep up the chain. The film centres on this chain and it has interesting effects on him and those around him. The film ends with a sudden shock which has the viewers in tears....I would recommend this film to those wanting a realisation of the world they live in and who wouldn't mind a weepy cry! ...

...of the movie. Pay it Forward, perhaps the old idea of you get what you give or vice versa. This boy through his giving gained much, not in the way that the world sees 'gain' but in the way that hearts know what is important. I won't say how the movie begins or ends..and I've said some of what's in between. But what I liked about this movie is that it's appropriate for all ages --from seven years to adult. So rent this video for your family. .and ...
...kind of makes you feel closer to your family. So, if you are separate from your family or from your children, it might make you feel a little sad. So, decide for yourself if you want to see it. IT's one great movie . It's an 'older' movie, came out in the USA many, many years ago..but people still rent it and still enjoy it. Out of my whole DVD collection this film is my favourite, and probably always will be. Firstly, the performances by all the actors are brilliant. And secondly, the storyline is one that will have you thinking about it days after you've watched it. If you're a person who likes a good film, I strongly suggest you buy this one NOW! And for the price it's at, I think you'd be missing a real bargin! ...
