By the time my quit smoking day arrived I was so ready to give up, I could have stopped earlier. But I didn't, I had a plan and was sticking to it. I even bought a pack of 10 the night before to last me until 'quitting time'. Advantages: If you really want to quit this will help Disadvantages: requires willpower - this is not a magic cure!
3 Days after first watching this DVD and I've gone from 20 a day down to ZERO a day.
That might sound impressive but I am not convinced that this will work for everyone. Firstly, as McKenna says right at the beginning of his introduction - you have to 'want' to give up smoking - he can't 'make' you stop. Secondly, this method still requires some willpower as I will now explain.
I got this DVD with an open mind. With a new baby daughter in the house, ... ...parts, firstly there is an introduction which explains a little about 'why' you are addicted and sets up a few methods for battling any cravings you might get.
The second part of the DVD is relaxation and hypnosis. Whatever myths you have about going into some sort of trance-like state - forget it! This is more like a really deep, tranquil, peaceful meditation and although I did actually drift off to sleep the first time I watched it, it is not ...
