Patsy Palmer - The Urban Workout (DVD)

I bought Patsy Palmer's club workout for the bargain price of £10 from Woolworths. What possessed me? Well, the only other exercise video I have done was one of Cindy Crawfords. Maybe it's just me, but it's not my idea of fun to be sweating in my front room whilst watching perfect Cindy looking gorgeous, never faltering, located on a beach, or at the foot of a mountain. As they dont really explain all the exercise, which was alright for me because i'm an experienced exerciser but i wouldn't recommend it for beginners. The actual workout it fantastic! ...bit daunting and boring but Patsy Palmers club workout caught my eye.It was a bit different and promised "you'll lose weight,tone up and have a laugh!"It cost£9.99 and lasts 49 minutes,great! ...and it seemed worth buying. Patsy Palmer's Club Workout is a wicked way to lose weight and it really is fun. You learn dance steps to real club music and you never get bored. It isn't too difficult to do, but i think that it's more suitable for younger people, well people under 40 i'd say. I'm not saying that people over 40 couldn't do it because some of them would, but with the dance tracks and complicated dance steps it could prove to be slightly ...
...on when you first start, but once you've played the video a few times you'll get the hang off it. The music is wicked, and it isn't the annoying cheesey music you get on other workout videos, it's real club music. The workout lasts for approximately 40mins, and it's a good idea to have some water with you because it is a very good workout. I've only been using it for a week so i can't tell you whether it works or not, but i'll update in a months ...

As I am certainly middle aged and quite overweight I finally decided that I wasn't going to go to a gym or whatever and bought this video. Actually, it was because my daughter said she'd do this one with me and not the other one I fancied. So it's one that can be shared by the generations. The moves are quite tricky to get first time round but they do become second nature. You can do them in a more energetic manner as you get fitter. I did it regularly ...
...butI was watching what I ate as well. It is quite fun but like everything you watch over and over you start to notice little things about it. Watch out for Patsy's trousers splitting a little bit and listen out for her swearing at the end of one of the energetic sections.
