I watched it with a mate, and we both agreed that it was not very funny. The noir aspect didn't work too well either. I hadn't really heard anything of this film and went in to the cinema reasonably blind (which i always prefer, plots are spoiled too early these days) so it was nice to sit through a particularly funny if not strange comedy. It all starts with Randy (Matt Dillon) bumping into Jewel (Liv Tyler), they get it together and carry on a rather unusual lifestyle (she'll do anything to get the dream house she's always wanted, even kill!), meanwhile Carl ...
