One Foot in the Grave is a well-known and well-loved British sitcom written by David Renwick that ran for six series’ between the years of 1990 and 2000. Advantages: Hilarious, on form with great plots Disadvantages: Laughable special effects!
...include monologue only - in one location. There's also sensitive subject matter covered in Hearts of Darkness - I believe some copies are more edited than others to exclude some of the beatings. More relationship turmoil is uncovered as Margaret is tempted by another man. Victor and Patrick butt heads, and Victor manages to provoke anger in a hired gardener.

CHRISTMAS SPECIAL - ONE FOOT IN THE ALGARVE
I think this is the best christmas special, along with Who's Listening. One Foot in the Algarve has so many subplots it's hard to get bored - although it can be difficult to follow as there are so many jumps in plot. Margaret becomes jealous, Mrs Warboys has a love interest, and a papparrazi is trailing them. The darker moments are still very humourous and the episode is lively and fast paced ...
