One Fine Day is a romantic comedy released in 20th December 1996. It was a relative disappointment at the box office and mainly received negative reviews from the critics. ...in the rain with the One Fine Day music playing. The camera focuses on an apartment building, looking through several windows at different people. Eventually it reaches and enters the apartment of Melanie and Sammy. Melanie (Michelle Pfeiffer) is a very busy single mother who we see munching on a snack whilst she writes out checks to pay the bills. ...nothing to do except watch one of my mother's videos and this looked like the most promising of a bad lot. Also, it had Michelle Pfeiffer in it, an actress I usually have a lot of time for. Well, it whiled away a couple of hours while I generally lazed around the house.
