Advantages: It is an interesting series
Disadvantages: It ends with a cliffhanger that it seems will never be resolved

Advantages: Great plot, great subplots, great characters (when they get into it)
Disadvantages: Well that fairly major issue... it ends at episode 19, with no finale!

It was one of those "oh well, there's nothing else that looks any good, let's give it a go" type purchases. For once, it turned up trumps! (For a while... read on!)
